Anyone ever beat a speeding ticket (not that I would have one)
by zman inok this friend of mine (hahahah) got a ticket in san antonio.
he was guilty as sin, 79 in a 65 and passed a plain jane cop car, the three lane changes (no signal) did'nt help.
this 'guy' now has ten tickets in three states, he always says he will fight one.

Peaceful Forest Gump or Tormented Pablo Picasso?
by GetBusyLiving ina while back when i was a witness i was reading a book with some dubblie friends that asked interesting questions to spark conversation and debate.
one of the questions was this: if you had could choose to live a life as an entirely content simpleton (forest gump) or a tortured genius (pablo picasso) what would you choose?
i was really taken aback when a lot of my friends said that they would choose to be forest.

Ah...ok. Thanks Rwagoneer for clearing that up for me. I appreciate it. Man if you think its bad in the US for people with disabilites, its not as bad as in Mexico. No ramps on the side walks, and the ones that do have them are very steep. There is no uniformity concerning sidewalks. Its really bad. Thanks for the insight on the Clint Eastwood case and putting it into context.

RWAGONEER... when you say that Clint Eastwood said, "these people", is it possible that he meant these people as in the people that are always complaining and have nothing else better to do and bitch and complain just for the sake of bitching and complaining. Is it possible or does the possibilty exist that he wasnt referring to people with handicaps or disabilities or physically challenged? Just a thought. -

If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one there to hear it, does the tree still make a noise?
